New development

So, I realized today that its almost the end of October. And I thought, What am I going to do this winter. I have decided to try some winter sports despite my fibromyalgia. I just hope I don't break anything while im trying to.I called around and asked where we were going to take our trip to, we decided on Canada. Awesome, I can not wait to go and see how it is there. I started searching around for equipment that we are going to need. What better than a site that is from Canada, yes I am weird like that! So I have thought about doing some downhill skiing. With the site that I found, the prices are awesome, I found the right equipment to do downhill skiing. It is just amazing. I just hope my fms doesn't get any worse with the cold weather. We will see I guess.

Help me, help you, help me :D

I have had fibromyalgia for about 6 years now, Ive been on numerous medications, and alot of them have worked and alot haven't. The one's that did work are: Savella(for overall fms improvement),Norco(for pain),Ultram(for pain),neuronton(for muscle pain),and Lyrica(for pain and helps you sleep). The Over the Counter medication that worked were: Ginseng (Energy) Mucinex (pain) Duirex (pain) B 100 Complex (Energy) and Tylenol PM (insomnia).

My pain killers arent completely working, I still have alot of pain, that is where the Duirex comes in during the day, I use the Mucinex through the night when I wake up in pain. Although, both Mucinex and Duirex work 100% better when they are taken with a pain killer.

This blog welcomes people to comment and let us know what their experience was with certain medications, feel free. We are all here to help eachother!

I need income

Lately Ive been trying to land a job that wont be hard on my body, but that alone is hard.Because not alot of people are hiring right now. Let alone someone who is considered disabled. Why dont they have special at home jobs for people with disabilities? Im on a mission to find this stuff out!

And so far, this is what I have found

Do You Have Fibromyalgia?

Symptoms of Fibromyalgia
What Are the Symptoms of Fibromyalgia?

Symptoms of fibromyalgia include:

Chronic muscle pain, muscle spasms or tightness, weakness in the limbs, and leg cramps
Moderate or severe fatigue and decreased energy
Insomnia or waking up feeling just as tired as when you went to sleep
Stiffness upon waking or after staying in one position for too long
Difficulty remembering, concentrating, and performing simple mental tasks (“fibro fog”)
Abdominal pain, bloating, nausea, and constipation alternating with diarrhea (irritable bowel syndrome)
Tension or migraine headaches
Jaw and facial tenderness
Sensitivity to one or more of the following: odors, noise, bright lights, medications, certain foods, and cold
Feeling anxious or depressed
Numbness or tingling in the face, arms, hands, legs, or feet
Increase in urinary urgency or frequency (irritable bladder)
Reduced tolerance for exercise and muscle pain after exercise
A feeling of swelling (without actual swelling) in the hands and feet
Painful menstrual periods

Fibromyalgia symptoms may intensify depending on the time of day -- morning, late afternoon, and evening tend to be the worst times, while 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. tends to be the best time. Symptoms may also get worse with fatigue, tension, inactivity, changes in the weather, cold or drafty conditions, overexertion, hormonal fluctuations (such as just before your period or during menopause), stress, depression, or other emotional factors.

If the condition is not diagnosed and treated early, symptoms can go on indefinitely, or they may disappear for months and then recur.

Yet again i havent been posting.the fibromyalgia has me in a grip.currently i am 24 weeks pregnant.and attending college full time.i have a two year old that takes alot of my time also. I am doing mobile posting because i can not get to a computer.but yesterday i went to pain management for my fibromyalgia.i ran into someone i went to schoool with a year ago.she told me she had fibromyalgia and heart sank.its horrible that she has to deal with both.then i mentioned some supplements that could help her.suprisingly she didnt know about them.when i was first diagnosed,i spent hours researching things to help me with my fms.and the fact that people dont know about them breaks my heart.i write this blog so people with fms are informed of things to help now that i know i have mobile posting on my going to post more often.

So sorry

Ok, everyone. I am so sorry that I have not posted in so long. If I haven't already stated, I am pregnant. And studies show that when you become pregnant, your fibromyalgia could go away for awhile. While mine hasn't, it actually has gotten worse. Imagine the pain and fatigue being 50 times worse. So its about time that I come up with a posting about pregnancy and fibromyalgia, which will be coming along shortly.

My Struggle

I am 23 years old, and i was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 8 months ago. It was a late diagnoses. I have had fibromyalgia since after the birth of my first son. Which was over 5 years ago. I was living with this horrible disease for over 4 years before someone realized I had it.

Along with the rest of the population that also has fibromyalgia. I have done my time searching google and other websites looking for at home things to help my condition. And after trying atleast 10 of them. Only a few actually worked.

This blog is to inform and help people with the same condition I have. My goal is to find the right over the counter treatment to help our FMS. So if you have any comment or suggestions. Then please post a comment. Along with whatever comment you post. I will do a actual post about that subject.

Thank you all
